Invisalign

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign consists of a series of discreet aligners that are changed every 2 weeks, in order to progressively alter the alignment of teeth into the desired position.

Each aligner is custom-made in accordance with your orthodontic prescription, dental impressions and photographs, so that your treatment is completely bespoke to you and provides optimum results.

What conditions can Invisalign treat?

Invisalign can be used in the correction of overbites, underbites, crossbites, gaps, crowding and crooked teeth. However, if your orthodontic condition is severe you may require fixed braces instead, which will be discussed during your initial consultation.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Invisalign can straighten your teeth in as little as 3 months, but this all depends on your orthodontic condition and some treatment times can be up to 3 years. For best results it is best to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day, so as to ensure you receive continual invisalign treatment.

Is Invisalign treatment painful?

All orthodontic treatment comes with a little discomfort, but Invisalign is one of the gentlest brace treatments available and any problems will disappear after a few days.
